The AniLog™ Animal Welfare Management Solution was officially launched at the ADCH conference 2009 and the animated (sorry!) response and enthusiastic reactions by the animal welfare charity delegates to AniLog ™ was extremely gratifying and rewarding. Those that had already met us in 2008 were particularly thrilled that we had not only listened to their ideas but actually implemented them – why wouldn’t we? You are our client and animal rehoming is a specialist area in which you are the experts - particularly where an animal’s journey from arrival to rehoming and beyond is concerned.
We are extremely grateful in particular to the two members of the ADCH who have extensively beta site tested AniLog™ and also to a third who spent a great deal of time assisting with positive suggestions. Their knowledge of exactly what they and other animal charities need from their software for them to function effectively was critical. Having frequently been told by animal charities that they only use part of their current software- the other functions are just not relevant to them - we have made sure that AniLog™ is genuinely "tail"or made!!!
Thanks to all of you who came to visit our stand for an AniLog™ demo – the electronic signature pad was seen as really modern and original – aiding the goal of a truly paperless system.
Many thanks once again to ADCH Chairman and Chief Executive of the Dogs Trust, Clarissa Baldwin OBE for selecting the three prize winners names out of the bag – neither of us could believe it as unbelievably the first name out was exactly the same as last year's - Woodside Animal Welfare Trust - there were other names in the bag I promise! The two other prizes went to charities from Southern Ireland – an iPod and a Radley folding shopping bag.
I thought that most of you who met and fell in love with "Biscuit" would like to know that he is having a rest after all the travelling – and will be arriving by car next year – the excess air baggage was a total of over £160!!
We are already looking forward to the 2010 ADCH conference in Jersey - as are many of the members!
